Description:

Ideal is the type of horse who gives his rider confidence while still offering plenty of room to grow. He is the kind of horse who makes his rider feel successful

2022 Westfalen Gelding | Asgard’s Ibiza × Rhythm and Blues (Ferro) × Perceval

Dressage Prospect | Premium Foal |

A talented, confident young dressage horse with the quality, temperament, and professional foundation to become a truly enjoyable partner for an ambitious amateur.

Ideal d’Eleganza is a striking 2022 Westfalen gelding who combines a quality modern pedigree with a wonderfully confident and personable temperament. Professionally started and thoughtfully developed from the beginning, he is currently working at Training Level and has a solid foundation for a successful future in dressage.

By Asgard’s Ibiza, Ideal carries the blood of a stallion who proved himself at the highest levels of young-horse competition, including a 6th-place finish at the 2018 World Young Horse Championships as a five-year-old with a score of 89.600. His dam line adds the valuable Dutch dressage influence of Rhythm and Blues, by Olympic Ferro, creating a pedigree with both athleticism and proven dressage heritage.

Ideal was awarded Premium Foal with Westfalen NA and has continued to develop into a handsome, substantial young horse with three comfortable gaits and a naturally uphill, balanced way of going.

What truly sets Ideal apart, however, is his mind and rideability.

He is confident, playful, affectionate, and naturally curious. He is not a spooky horse and approaches new situations with a positive attitude. Under saddle, he is comfortable and willing, with a generous way of going that makes him particularly appealing for an ambitious amateur looking for a quality young horse to develop with.

Ideal is the type of horse who gives his rider confidence while still offering plenty of room to grow. He is not a horse who needs to be constantly held together or micromanaged; rather, he benefits from a rider who encourages him forward and continues to develop his strength and impulsion.

He has been professionally trained in both dressage and hunter work during his development, giving him a well-rounded education and a good foundation for his future career. He is currently showing the qualities we look for in a young dressage horse and has the potential to progress confidently through the levels with the right partnership.
