Laroche has already proven that his talent and heart transmit to the next generation. Six Ster mares, two Keur mares, and one licensed stallion were just the beginning successes of his early foal crops. Mr. President and Bugatti represent Laroche in the US as winning jumpers on the A circuit. Laroche has also produced successful hunters suitable for professional, junior, and amateur riders. The jumping ability evident in Laroche and his offspring is no surprise. His sire Olympic Concorde competed internationally for many years with excellent results. He was selected as the KWPN Horse of the Year in 2004 and was the youngest stallion to ever be awarded the Preferent title. Grandsire Voltaire was a Dutch Team horse as well, winning Nations Cup classes at Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Wiesbaden, and Wembley. This KWPN Preferent sire has an exceptional production record of both showjumpers and dressage horses and he has been in the top of the KWPN & WBFSH ranking lists. In the US, Voltaire’s offspring have often won in the hunter ring as well. Laroche’s dam is the Keur Preferent Prestatie mare Bernadette, by the legendary Nimmerdor. He sired 18 approved sons, including Ahorn, Goodtimes, and Heartbreaker. In 2000 Nimmerdor was elected “the stallion of the 20th century” in the Netherlands.
