Description:

Kona KF’s dam, Ronan’sact, produced Just for Fun KF (by Great Pleasure), who has been wildly successful in the Green hunters up and down the West Coast. She also produced Lars, by Tenerife VDL, who had success in the 2’9″ hunters on the West Coast.
Kona’s filly, O’Hara MFF by Rotspon, was top 3 for North America for all mares presented in 2024 both in the Holsteiner Verband and with Belgian Warmblood – North American Division! Kona took Rotspon’s elastic movement and added her own flat-kneed trot to produce a sweeping combination. Her powerful, rocking horse canter was also passed on.
Kona herself is 16.2 hh and stout. She is sweet and careful, but comes with enough blood to produce her own motor. For crossing with heavy hunter warmblood stallions, she is an ideal type.
Kona produced a gorgeous black filly in 2025 by Comme Prevu and is currently open and ready to rebreed. She can be sold with her new foal.
