Adonis’ (Addy) Rose is an exceptional Oldenburg filly by Lord Adonis out of a premium Oldenburg mare, Rose Garden. Addy Rose was born May 18, 2024, and she has inherited a sweet disposition from both her sire and damn. She is people-oriented, very curious, and always is the first of the herd to ask for head scratches. She does take time to build trust and can be a bit hesitant with new things, but once she is comfortable, she is eager to learn. She is halter trained, stands for the farrier, and trailers well. No vices. She has received daily handling and training appropriate for her age including leading, groundwork, grooming and bathing. She has spent the last 6 months growing up in a pasture with other horses, she is well socialized. She is likely going to mature around 16 hands.

Her sire, Lord Adonis, consistently passes on his similar superb type, correctness and great temperament with good movement. Jumping is a given for his offspring. Her damn, Rose Garden, is a premium Oldenburg mare sired by Ragtime which was the USEF 2010, 2011 & 2013 National Hunter Breeding Sire Champion. Ragtime’s progenies demonstrate athleticism, scope, beautiful movement, effortless jump, correctness and a wonderful temperament.

Based on Addy’s breeding and movement, she would do well in a jumping-focused family, though she would thrive in any home with daily handling. Priced in the low 5’s, short-term boarding available after purchase. Up to date on vaccinations and deworming, has been microchipped and has lifetime USEF number. Located in Oregon.
