“Penny” is a flashy, athletic filly by Pallido Blu CF out of a Feiner Stern x Duellglanz mare. Expected to finish at 16.2h+ and sturdy with good bone. She has 3 quality gaits with an uphill trot and lofty canter that would do well in the dressage ring. However, her sire, Pallido Blu CF, has produced many hunter/jumper types so Penny would also excel over jumps – and with all of her chrome, she’s guaranteed to turn heads in any ring!

Penny’s sire, Pallido Blu CF, attended the 70 day stallion test in 2013 placing fifth overall in his stallion test with a score of 116.70, ranking 5th in dressage (114.48) and ranking 5th in jumping (115.52). Lido’s test scores clearly showcase his willing and trainable temperament with a score of perfect 10 for Character, 9.5 for Constitution, and 9’s for both Temperament and Willingness to work. Lido’s sire Palladio (by Caletto I), sports a record of proven, talented, athletic offspring known for easy and trainable minds. Palladio won many International Hunter Derby classes and has offspring winning in all disciplines. Lido’s dam, the premium mare Rainfall, combines the well-known pinto bloodline of Rainbow with an athletic Kentucky-bred thoroughbred motherline.

Her dam sire, Feiner Stern, was a successful sire in the late 90s and early 2000s. He combines the bloodlines of the Oldenburg foundation sire Furioso II with the Hannoverian foundation sire Gotthard. In addition, his granddam Ramona is by the stallion Romulus II, the full brother of Romulus I, sire of the dressage sensation Romadour. The damsire of Feiner Stern, Goldstern, is known in Germany for producing versatile and uncomplicated performance horses. At his stallion performance test Feiner Stern achieved 9.0 4 times for his ability to perform, rideability, trot and gallop in training, and got more than 120 points in the final result. Due to this performance, in combination with a convincing first crop as well as his impressive appearance, he was awarded the title of main premium winning stallion in Oldenburg in 1987. His first batch of foals brought 4 approved sons, among them Feinbrand, the first reserve champion and Fair Play, the 2nd reserve champion of the 1989 stallion approvals in Oldenburg.

There’s no doubt that she is a versatile filly worth adding to your barn, capable of going in any direction she’s pointed. She will be registered with Westfalen NA and could also be a future breeding prospect with her older dam line and 50/50 chance of throwing her tobiano gene onto her foals for some extra chrome! Penny is weaned and ready to go, or can be boarded at her current location at purchaser’s expense.
